A Recap of the Annual CPAB and MVP Event
This past August 7–11 we hosted our 2017 Channel Partner Advisory Board (CPAB) and Most Valuable Partners (MVP) here in Colorado. The event started with our Advisory Board partners joining us for an exchange of ideas, strategies and tactics for improving our products, services and overall program. Obviously, foremost on everyone’s mind this year is the fast-approaching merger between CenturyLink and Level 3 and our members were able to use this forum to voice their opinions and concerns.
The CPAB meeting agenda included an overall indirect integration perspective with hosts Lisa Miller, Senior Vice President of Wholesale, Indirect, Inside & Content Sales Channels (WIIC) and Garrett Gee, VP Sales, Indirect Channel. Also presenting were Level 3 executives Fletcher Keister, SVP Finance, NA CFO, Shaun Andrews, SVP IP and Real-Time Communications, and several others who were able to give updates related to products, customer support and overall integration from an enterprise perspective.
This event is also an opportunity to recognize the achievements and contributions of our top-selling MVPs for 2016. Our MVPs joined us for two days of red-carpet treatment including fly fishing, hiking, golf at Red Sky Ranch, and world-class dining as well as quality spa relaxation and networking time at the famed Ritz-Carlton resort in Beaver Creek, CO.
As we focused on the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, it was important to build on our current foundation that will help fuel the growth of our combined organizations — CenturyLink and Level 3 — and capture everyone’s opinions to help us ensure we get it right. Prior to these meetings, we surveyed partners for feedback to appropriately structure the agenda, for example, where we should take things from a program perspective, and what best practices Level 3 can build upon to improve the Channel Program.
From all of us at Level 3, thank you to those who joined and contributed; and to those who couldn’t be there, we hope to see you next year! We want you to get the maximum value out of your time away from the office, and we hope it was a positive and collaborative experience.
